St Andrews is near Tilmanstone, just outside Deal in Kent. It's detached, so no neighbours on either side. You get the whole house and garden.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It has a 5 Star rating, which is mostly about the space and the finish.
The kitchen is big, with one of those large range cookers. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. There are two sitting rooms downstairs. One has a wood burner, the other has the TV and doors out to the garden. The garden is lawned and looks out over a field where horses are sometimes kept.
The stairs are typical for an older house, which is to say they're not the shallowest. One of the bedrooms and a bathroom are on the ground floor, which helps.
You're down a country lane. The nearest shop and pub are about two and a half miles away in the village. Deal is about a fifteen minute drive. That's where the beach is, and the high street with cafes. Dover Castle and the White Cliffs are about twenty minutes in the other direction.
For a proper day out, Canterbury is half an hour away. You can walk the city walls or see the Cathedral. The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is about forty minutes away if you like that sort of thing.
The house is set up for wheelchairs at the entrance and on the ground floor. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking for a couple of cars on the drive.
