The Bothy is in Staple, Kent. It's an old gardener's cottage from the 1750s. It's detached, so you're on your own.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, which means it's clean and comfortable but don't expect anything luxurious. There's an open fire for winter and a patio you can sit on in summer. The garden is private.
You can bring dogs. Two is the limit.
It's very rural. The pub in the village is about a mile's walk. The nearest shop is two and a half miles away in Wingham. Wingham is nice, about two miles from here.
Sandwich is six miles away. It's an old town with a lot of history, and it's not far from the beach. Canterbury is about a twenty minute drive. You've got the cathedral and all the shops and restaurants there.
If you're thinking of a day trip, you can get to the ferry or the Eurotunnel for France in under an hour.
For facilities, it's got the basics. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. The Wi-Fi works, but because of the location it can be a bit patchy sometimes.
