Gamekeeper's Cottage is in the village of Staple, near Sandwich in Kent. It's a one-bedroom detached cottage, part of an 18th-century estate. It sleeps two.
The main thing about it is the garden. It's walled and completely private, about a third of an acre. It gets the sun most of the day. There's a fig tree and lots of plants. It's very quiet.
Inside, it's small. It's been updated, with a new kitchen and bathroom. It's got a woodburning stove. The bed is a double with good linen. It's a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious.
Staple is a small medieval village. There's a pub that does food about a five-minute walk away. It's fine. The area is very rural.
You're about fifteen minutes' drive from the coast. Sandwich Bay is good for a walk, and Ramsgate and Broadstairs are along the coast. Canterbury is under half an hour away for shopping and the cathedral. Dover and the Eurotunnel are about twenty minutes for ferries.
Facilities: there's a TV, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. There's Wi-Fi but it can be slow or drop out sometimes, it's a countryside thing. No pets, sorry.
