Deerson Barn

Deerson Barn is in Preston, near Canterbury. It's a detached barn conversion down a quiet lane. You get the garden and the fields beyond.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One is an en-suite shower room off the main bedroom downstairs. The family bathroom has a big freestanding bath. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable.

There's an open-plan living area downstairs with a wood burner and bi-folding doors out to the deck. The kitchen is part of that space. Upstairs, there's a second living area on the galleried landing, which has sofa beds for two extra people if you need them.

Outside, there's a raised deck that wraps around. Steps go down to a patio with a table and a swim spa. The swim spa has a hot tub section. Please keep noise down after 10pm because of neighbours. We provide bath robes.

The lane is good for walks. One way goes through woods to Preston village, which has a shop and a restaurant. The other direction takes you through bluebell woods to Wickhambreaux, which has a pub.

Canterbury is about 20 minutes away by car. The Kent coast is about 15 minutes drive. Sandwich and Pegwell Bay are worth a visit. The nearest beach is about nine and a half miles.

For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's parking on site. No pets.
