Bow Cottage is in Fordwich. It’s a terraced cottage, stone walls inside, quite modern really. Sleeps three, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The living room has a big bow window at the front. There's a woodburner. The kitchen is a galley style with tiled floors, leads into a dining room. Patio doors from there go out to the garden. The garden is enclosed, so it's private.
Fordwich is tiny, it's called the smallest town. There are two pubs about a hundred yards away. Both are good. A shop is a quarter of a mile.
You can walk straight out from the cottage. Canterbury is very close, maybe two miles. The cathedral is the main thing, but the whole city centre is good to wander. You can get boat trips on the River Stour there.
The coast is about twenty minutes by car. Whitstable is known for oysters and the harbour. Herne Bay has a pier. If you like castles, Dover, Deal and Walmer are all within half an hour's drive.
There's a washing machine, a cot if you need it, bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking.
