This place is called Vitamin Sea Residency, but we just call it the Herne Bay flat. It's a one-bedroom flat for two people. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the walls.
It's been done up recently. There's a proper king-size bed in the bedroom and a decent shower. The kitchen is open plan with the living area. The sofa is big. There's a TV and WiFi.
Outside, there's a private courtyard garden with some seating. It's enclosed.
The location is the main thing. You're a few minutes' walk from the seafront, the pier, and the shops. The train station is close by too. You can get to Whitstable in about ten minutes by car, or take the train to places like Margate. London is about an hour and a half on the train.
Herne Bay itself has a long beach, a bandstand, and a clock tower. For a walk, you can head east along the coast to Reculver to see the old towers. There's a golf course nearby, and you can fish or ride horses locally if that's your thing.
Further out, Canterbury is about a twenty-minute drive. It's got the cathedral and it's a UNESCO site. The Ashford Designer Outlet is about half an hour away if you want to go shopping.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's bike storage if you need it.
