The Warren
The Warren is on the edge of Whitstable, in a quiet cul-de-sac. It's a semi-detached house, sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs.
It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything works, it's clean and tidy, but it's not luxury. It's a family house. The garden is enclosed if you've got kids or a dog. We don't allow pets though.
The town centre and the harbour are about a mile and a half away. You can walk it, cycle it, or drive and park. There's a bus stop close by too. The beach is shingle. Tankerton Slopes, with the beach huts, is a nice stroll along the front.
You're here for the oysters and the sea air. The high street has the usual shops, but the harbour is the thing. For a longer walk or cycle, the Crab and Winkle Way goes all the way to Canterbury on the old railway line.
Canterbury is about twenty minutes by car or train. The cathedral is the main event. Canterbury Cathedral has all the visiting details.
For a proper day out in the woods, Blean Woods RSPB reserve is nearby. The Wildwood Trust is just up the road if you want to see British wildlife.
Facilities: there's parking for one car on the drive. Washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a patio with a table and a BBQ.
