The Warren is a semi-detached house in Whitstable. It's on a quiet street on the edge of town. You can walk to the local shop and pub, but the sea front is about a two mile walk away. It's an easy cycle or a short drive.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything works and it's clean, but don't expect anything fancy. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids. There's parking on the drive.
You've got all the basics: WiFi, TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ in the garden and space to store bikes if you bring them.
For the beach, you'll want to head into Whitstable proper. The harbour is where they land the oysters. It's a working harbour but there are good places to eat. The beach there is shingle. Tankerton Slopes, just along the coast, is nice for a walk. It has a row of colourful beach huts.
There's a traffic-free cycle path, the Crab and Winkle Way, that runs from Whitstable all the way into Canterbury. It's about seven miles. Good for a family bike ride.
Canterbury is about a twenty minute drive. The cathedral is the main draw. Whitstable itself has a museum and gallery if the weather's bad.
