This is Apartment 5. It's a modern flat on Harbour Street, right in the middle of Whitstable.
The building is Victorian but the apartment itself was done up in 2023. It's got two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy so no one has to queue. It sleeps four comfortably. The council gives it a 4 Star rating, so it's properly equipped and comfortable.
You're about five minutes walk from the beach, depending on how fast you walk. The high street is right outside your door, so you've got all the shops and cafes there. The harbour's a short walk that way. The local bus stop and the train station are very close if you don't want to drive.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a parking space for one car on site, which is a real plus round here.
The stairs up to the apartment are fairly steep, just so you know. The living area is open plan. It's got a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher, and all your bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
From here, you can walk to Tankerton Slopes for a longer beach. Whitstable Castle and its gardens are worth a visit. Canterbury is about fifteen minutes by train or car if you want to see the Cathedral. You can get to Margate, Ramsgate, or Deal in under half an hour by car.
Useful links for planning: Visit Kent has good information, and the National Trust looks after a few nearby coastal spots like the White Cliffs.
