Apartment 8
This is Apartment 8. It's on the first floor of a Victorian building in the middle of Whitstable. The building was renovated last year, so everything inside is new.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with double beds, and two bathrooms. That's handy. You can bring one dog. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The location is the main thing. It's five minutes from the beach and about the same to the high street. You can pretty much step out the door and be where you need to be for shops or the seafront. The harbour and the oyster stalls are right there.
Tankerton Beach and the Slopes are a short walk along the coast. Whitstable Castle is nearby too, if you fancy a look around the gardens.
If you want to go further out, Canterbury is about twenty minutes by train or car. Margate, Broadstairs, and Ramsgate are all within half an hour's drive. The Visit Kent site has good information for planning trips.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, a TV, and parking for one car on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
One thing to note is that it's an apartment in a shared building, so you'll hear normal neighbour noise sometimes. The stairs up to the first floor are the original Victorian ones, so they're a bit steeper than modern ones.
