Poppy's Cottage is in Staplestreet. It's a detached cottage on its own, so no immediate neighbours. The main house next door is where we live when we're not away, but it's completely separate. You have the cottage and garden entirely to yourselves.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The garden has good outdoor seating for eating or just sitting.
You're in the countryside here. The village pub is about a 10-minute walk. For shops and more, you're about six miles from the market town of Faversham, the seaside at Whitstable, and the city of Canterbury. That's usually a 10 to 15-minute drive to each.
From Whitstable you can walk the coastal path or catch the train to London if you want. Canterbury has the cathedral and the Roman museum. Faversham has a historic market and the Shepherd Neame brewery.
The facilities are all there: Washing machine, dishwasher, woodburning stove, BBQ, satellite TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. One well-behaved dog is welcome. We can provide a cot and highchair.
