The Coach House Stables is in Slutshole, near Hernhill village. It's a converted stable block on our property. We live in the main house next door.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. We've got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The terrace is walled in, so it's private, and it looks out over our garden. You can sit out there. There's a gate from the terrace into our grounds which you're welcome to walk in, but if you bring a dog it needs to be on a lead. We've got chickens wandering about.
The village of Hernhill is a short walk away. There's a green and a church. The Red Lion pub is on the green. They do food and are fine with dogs.
For the coast, Whitstable is about a seven mile drive. That's where the oyster huts are. Canterbury is about six miles the other way. You've got the cathedral and the old streets there.
In the cottage there's a dishwasher, WiFi, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
If you're looking for things to do locally, the National Trust Kent page has information. For the coast, Visit Kent is useful.
