The Coach House Stables is in Slutshole, near Faversham in Kent. It's the old stables for the main house, converted. You're down a private lane, so it's quiet.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. One bathroom is downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. Everything works.
There's a walled terrace out the back with a table, chairs, and a gas barbecue. It's enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or a dog. A gate from the terrace leads into our grounds. You're welcome to walk around them, but if you bring a dog it needs to be on a lead because we've got chickens roaming about.
The village of Hernhill is a short walk away. There's a village green with a church and a pub called The Red Lion overlooking it. They do food.
You're about twenty minutes' drive from the coast. Whitstable is that way, for the oysters and the shingle beach. Herne Bay is a bit further. For a big day out, Canterbury is less than half an hour's drive. The Cathedral is the main thing, but the whole city centre is good for wandering. In terms of what's here: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's parking right outside. Sorry, no pets.
