Wellspring Cottage
This is Wellspring Cottage. It's in Whitstable, on a little lane just off Harbour Street. It's a small fisherman's cottage and it's in the old part of town.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's not a show home. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so they're a bit narrow and turn a corner.
You walk straight into the living room. That leads through to the dining room and the kitchen at the back. The kitchen has what you need. French doors from the dining room open onto a small, enclosed garden. It's got grass, two tables, and chairs. There's a shed with a basic charcoal barbecue in it.
You're about a three minute walk from the High Street with all the shops and cafes. The sea is five minutes away. Whitstable is good for that. You can walk along the beach, get some seafood. The town has its own thing.
Canterbury is about seven miles inland if you want the cathedral or more shops. It's a 15-20 minute drive.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's no parking with the cottage, but there is a public car park a couple of minutes walk away. Sorry, no pets.
