This is the Oak. It's a one bedroom cottage in Herne Common, Kent. It's for two people. There's a sofa bed downstairs if you need it. The rating is four stars.
The cottage is part of a smallholding, so there are chickens and horses next door. You have your own garden. It's enclosed, so it's fine for a dog. We take one pet.
Herne village is a short walk. There's a pub there that does food. The local shop is a bit further on.
Herne Bay beach is about three miles away. It's a good, long stretch of sand. Canterbury is five miles in the other direction. You've got the cathedral and the shops there. Whitstable is about a twenty minute drive if you want oysters.
