Oak

This is Oak cottage. It's on the edge of Herne Common, just outside Canterbury. It's part of a small farm where we keep chickens and have a livery yard, so you'll see the odd horse or chicken about. The cottage is detached.

It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating.

There's a bit of garden for you, fenced in, which looks over the fields. It's a good spot for a drink in the evening. The living area is all one room with patio doors out to the garden. The stairs are fine, just normal stairs.

You can walk to the local pub in a few minutes. It does food. The village shop is a bit further, about a mile. Herne Bay beach is three miles away, which is a good, sandy beach for a proper walk.

Canterbury is about five miles. It's got everything: the cathedral, shops, restaurants. For a day trip, Whitstable is about twenty minutes up the coast. It's known for oysters and has a good harbour and beach.

Things here: bed linen and towels are included, there's a dishwasher, a TV, and wifi. Parking is right outside. You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
