West Beach House is in Whitstable, on a quiet road about five minutes from the harbour. It's a terraced house, sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The living room is a good size. There's a games room with a table tennis table, which is handy if the weather turns. The kitchen is open plan with the dining area. French doors open onto a deck and a decent sized garden, which is fenced in. Good for sitting out or if you've got kids.
The beach is about a ten minute walk. You go down a footpath over the golf course and you're there. It's shingle. From there you can walk along the promenade into the town centre.
Whitstable itself is all there on your doorstep. The harbour's the main point. You can get seafood there, or boat trips out to the sea forts. Plenty of good pubs, some do music at weekends. Lots of independent shops and cafes too.
If you want to go further out, Canterbury is about a fifteen minute drive. Faversham's a similar distance. Good for a change of scene.
In terms of what's here: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the driveway. No pets, sorry.
Useful links for planning: Canterbury City Council for local info and National Trust Kent for places like Studland Bay, which is under an hour's drive.
