Tankerton Heights is an apartment on the main road in Tankerton, which is part of Whitstable. It’s a first floor flat with a shared entrance, but the whole apartment is yours. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well looked after.
The back of the flat is the quieter side. It looks out over a no-through road towards the castle. The front is on Tankerton Road, so you get some traffic noise.
You’re about five minutes’ walk from Tankerton Slopes, which is the beach. It’s shingle. Whitstable harbour and the high street are about ten to fifteen minutes on foot. The town has plenty of independent shops, places to eat, and the usual pubs. The train station is a twelve minute walk. Trains go to Canterbury and into London.
If you drive, there’s parking for one car on site. The main road access is useful for getting around. Herne Bay is a short drive along the coast. Canterbury is about fifteen minutes by car.
Inside, it’s got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
For local information, the Visit Canterbury site is useful, and the Whitstable & Margate site has event listings.
