The Palms
The Palms is in Whitstable, on a quiet road that doesn't go anywhere, which means no traffic. It's a detached house. You walk out the end of the road and you're at the beach in five minutes. It's proper shingle beach, so bring shoes you don't mind getting wet.
It sleeps six. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, so you're not queuing. The whole place is done up to that luxury 5 Star standard, which just means it's new and nothing is broken. Everything feels solid.
The garden is big and enclosed. It's mostly lawn, good for kids to run on. There's a patio with a table and chairs, and a BBQ you can use. It gets the sun most of the day.
Whitstable town centre is a short drive away. That's for the harbour, the pubs, and the restaurants. The famous oyster places are there. Herne Bay is along the coast, and Canterbury is about a fifteen minute drive inland. You've got the cathedral and the shops.
If you want to get out, you can walk the coastal path. There's fishing if that's your thing, and a golf course nearby. You're about an hour from London if you take the train from Whitstable station.
For facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. On-site parking for two cars. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring two dogs.
