The Palms
The Palms is in Whitstable. It's a detached house on a quiet cul de sac, about a five minute walk from the beach. You can hear the seagulls.
It sleeps six in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's well finished and feels new, so it's comfortable rather than quirky.
The garden is a good size, fully enclosed, with a lawn and patio. There's a barbecue there. It's private.
Whitstable town centre is a short drive away, or a longer walk. The beach is pebbly. You can walk along the coast from there. The town has the usual seafood places, pubs, and little shops.
You can get to Canterbury in about fifteen minutes by car. The cathedral is there, and you can walk the city walls. Herne Bay is also close, maybe ten minutes the other way.
The house is listed as having wheelchair accessible entrance. The local area is flat, which helps for getting around.
For facilities, it's got pretty much everything: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
