The Exchange
The Exchange is a flat in Whitstable. It's on a residential street about a ten minute walk from the harbour and beach. You get one private parking space, which is a proper bonus around here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with its own shower room. The living area is all open plan, so the kitchen, dining and sitting room are in one big space. It's got a minimalist look. The rating is 4 Star, so it's well-finished and comfortable.
You've got all the standard stuff: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.
The walk into town is easy. Whitstable's got all the usual seaside things: fish and chip shops, pubs, cafes, and the oyster stalls. The beach is mostly shingle. For a longer stretch of sand, you can drive to Herne Bay.
Canterbury is about a fifteen minute drive. You've got the cathedral and the old streets. If you want a bigger day out, the National Trust has a few places within half an hour, like the gardens at Sissinghurst Castle.
