The Den
This place is called The Den. It's in Herne Bay, about a ten minute walk from the seafront. It's a brick-built garden room at the bottom of our garden, but it's completely separate with its own fence and patio. We live in the main house, but you won't see us unless you need something.
It sleeps two. One bedroom with a super kingsize bed that you can split into twins if you want. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well set up, with things like a dishwasher and a coffee machine.
You get the whole patio to yourself. It gets the sun in the evening. There's a bike shed if you bring them. We have a dedicated EV charger on the drive if you need it.
The high street with shops, a pub, and restaurants is about five minutes walk away. The beach is maybe fifteen minutes on foot.
Canterbury is about fifteen minutes drive. Whitstable is twenty minutes. If you're driving, the White Cliffs of Dover are about forty minutes away. There's good walking at the Reculver Towers, which is a short drive up the coast.
Facilities-wise: there's parking for one car, Wi-Fi, two TVs, all bedding and towels are included. We allow one dog. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
