Apartment 4
Apartment 4 is in a converted Victorian school building on Canterbury Road in Whitstable. It's a two-bedroom flat, modern inside. Everything was redone last year.
It sleeps four. Two good-sized double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms. That's handy if you're two couples. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, comfortable, everything works.
The building is set back from the road, so it's quieter than you'd think. You get a parking space right out the front. The important thing is the location. You're a five minute walk from the high street and about the same to the beach at the harbour end. You don't really need the car once you're here.
The beach is mostly shingle. The town's got good pubs, cafes, and the fish places. The Oyster Company is right on the harbour. For a longer stretch of sand, the promenade at Tankerton Slopes is about a mile along the coast path. Whitstable Castle is up that way too.
If you want to explore, the train station is a ten minute walk. Trains to Canterbury take about half an hour. You can get to Margate or Ramsgate in under forty minutes. That's useful if the weather turns.
Facilities wise: there's a dishwasher, wifi, a TV, and all bedding and towels are included. On-site parking. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
