Kentish Barn Retreat is just outside Chilham. It's a converted barn on its own, down a farm track. You look out over fields and orchards. The garden is fenced.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main room has high ceilings and big windows. There's a decked terrace at the back. We see buzzards and rabbits sometimes. The garden is enclosed and safe if you've got kids.
It has things like a dishwasher, washing machine, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. There is air conditioning for hot weeks.
There's a hot tub in a separate cabin. It has a TV in it. All the bedrooms have TVs too.
Chilham village is about five minutes away by car. It's very pretty, like a film set, because it often is. There's a pub, The White Horse, and a tea room. Chilham Castle is there to visit.
Canterbury is 15 minutes drive. You've got the cathedral, shops, and restaurants there.
For walks, you're on the edge of the North Downs. The North Downs Way is close. Badgers Hill Farm is nearby if you want to see some animals.
The Kent coast is within 30 minutes. Whitstable and Herne Bay are that way.
