The Manor Coach House is in Shalmsford Street, near Canterbury. It's a detached coach house in the grounds of the main manor, which is very old. You've got your own garden, about an acre.
It sleeps six but in two bedrooms. Both are king size beds with their own en-suite bathrooms. There's also a sofa bed upstairs. The living space is on the first floor, so you go up a spiral staircase to get to it. That's where the kitchen, dining area, and sitting room are. It leads out onto a balcony overlooking the garden.
The garden has a heated swimming pool, a hot tub, a table tennis table, and a wood-fired pizza oven. There are two barbecues, one gas and one coal. The garden is enclosed.
Inside, there's a record player with some records, a karaoke machine, and board games. We leave bread, butter, and jam for you when you arrive, and some things for the fire pit.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
You're right in the Kent Downs, so there's lots of walking from the door. The River Stour path is close by. Canterbury is about a 15-minute drive. Whitstable and its beaches are about 20 minutes away. There are fishing lakes nearby if that's your thing.
For more information on the area, the Kent Downs website is useful, as is Canterbury's official site for planning city visits.
