Anchor Light Cottage is in the middle of Faversham, on one of the old medieval streets. It's a tall, thin house, like a lot are round here.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy. Two have showers, one has a bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
You come in through the side door straight into the sitting room. There's a wood burner. The kitchen is at the back, with French doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs. There's a Rayburn in the kitchen, it keeps the place warm. The stairs are quite steep, as you'd expect.
You're right in the town, so you can walk to everything. The market is on a Saturday. There are a few old pubs a minute's walk away. Shepherd Neame brewery is here, you can do tours. For a bigger town, Canterbury is about a fifteen minute drive. Whitstable is ten minutes in the car, for the seafront and oysters.
If you like walking, the Oare Marshes nature reserve is nearby. The coast is close, but you're not right on the beach. Seasalter and Whitstable are your nearest spots for that.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car out the front on the street. The garden is yours. It says it's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but the rest of the house has stairs. You can bring pets.
