This is Box Cottage. It’s in Eastling, Kent, which is countryside between Faversham and Sittingbourne.
The cottage is old. It’s listed and from the 1600s. It was recently refurbished. The stairs are small and winding, and the bedrooms are in the eaves, which means they have sloped ceilings. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs.
There’s an inglenook fireplace in the dining room with a woodburning stove. The garden is enclosed at the back. If you bring a dog, you need to keep it downstairs.
The lane outside is quiet and you can park there. As for facilities, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and bed linen and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
The pub in the village is a five minute walk. There are footpaths directly from the cottage for walking.
For a day out, Faversham is about ten minutes by car. It’s a market town with proper streets and a creek. You can find details here: Faversham Town Council. For something bigger, Canterbury is around half an hour away.
