The Ark Barn
The Ark Barn is in Chillenden, just outside Canterbury. It's on our land, but it's separate and private.
It's a barn conversion, sleeps seven. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The main space is open plan. The stairs are a bit steep, but there's a bedroom and a shower room on the ground floor too.
It's a quiet, rural spot. You can walk straight out into the fields from here. The nearest pub is in Goodnestone, about a mile and a half away.
You're about twenty minutes from Canterbury. Dover port is about the same if you're coming from France. The coast is east, around twenty minutes to Deal or Sandwich. Ramsgate, Broadstairs, and Margate are a bit further.
There's a lot to do nearby. For golf, Royal St George's in Sandwich is close. For animals, there's Wingham Wildlife Park and Howletts. You can get to the coast paths easily for walking.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
