The cottage is called A Bit On The Side, which is a bit of a joke because it's the annexe next to our house. It's in Nonington, which is a small village in Kent. It's quiet here, just fields and lanes.
It's for two people. One bedroom, but two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well-kept, everything works. The layout is open-plan so it's easy to live in.
You have your own garden bit at the back. It looks out over the fields. There's parking for two cars right outside.
There's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot if you need one.
The local pub, The Griffins Head, is about a ten minute walk away. The food is good. The shop is a couple of miles away in Wingham, so you'll likely drive. There's a spa in the village if that's your thing, but you need to book treatments well ahead.
Deal and Walmer are about a twenty minute drive. They've got beaches and the castles. Dover is about the same, for the port or the White Cliffs. Canterbury is maybe 25 minutes by car if you want the cathedral or shopping.
