Oast View
This is Oast View, in Elmstone. It's on a working farm, so you look out over orchards and fields. It's a detached house, so it's just you.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the doubles has its own ensuite. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been done up well. There's underfloor heating, new fittings, that sort of thing.
The main room is quite big. It's all open plan: kitchen with an island in the middle, then dining and sitting areas. The kitchen is in the round part of the old oast.
Outside, there's a garden and patio you can use. Parking is right there. There's an electric vehicle charger if you need it. You can bring one dog.
You're about ten minutes by car from Canterbury. It's a good base for that. The city's got the cathedral, the old walls, all the history. Canterbury Cathedral is the main thing to see.
The coast is about twenty to thirty minutes away if you fancy the sea. Whitstable, Ramsgate, Broadstairs are all in that sort of range. They're all a bit different. Whitstable's good for oysters, the others have long beaches.
For days out, there's The White Cliffs of Dover, or you can go to Dover Castle. Both are within half an hour.
As it's a farm, you'll hear tractors and farm noises sometimes. That's just how it is.
