The Oast
The Oast is on our farm in Elmstone. It's a detached oast house, part of a pair of apartments we made from the old building. You'll have your own patio and garden.
It sleeps four. Two proper double bedrooms. Each has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so everything is new and in good order. It's open plan downstairs, with the kitchen in the old roundel part. It's a big space.
Being on the farm, you're surrounded by orchards and fields. The views are good. The farm is working, so you'll see tractors and hear animals sometimes. There's an electric vehicle charger on site.
Canterbury is about ten minutes by car. It's good for the Cathedral, Roman walls, and shops. For the coast, Whitstable is known for oysters and a shingle beach. Deal has a long seafront and a castle. The English Heritage site is useful for their places. Ramsgate, Broadstairs, and Margate are all within half an hour for sandy beaches.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We accept one dog.
