West Bay House is in Westgate-on-Sea, just outside Margate. It's a big, tall Victorian house right on the seafront, so you're looking straight out across West Bay.
It sleeps 18. There are nine bedrooms and every single one has its own bathroom, which is handy with a big group. It's got a 5 Star rating which, in this case, means it's been done up to a very high standard. Everything feels quite grand.
The main thing is the view. Several rooms look right out to sea, including the big dining room. That dining room has a large fireplace and a table that seats 20. It's a proper event space.
There are gardens at the front and back. You can sit out there and watch the sea. The sun goes down over the bay in the evenings.
The town is quiet. There's a sandy beach about a two minute walk away. You can walk along the promenade into Margate itself, which takes about half an hour, or it's a five minute drive. Margate has the Turner Contemporary gallery, Dreamland, and the old town with its shops and cafes.
If you want to explore, Broadstairs and Whitstable are along the coast, maybe 20-30 minutes by car. Canterbury is about half an hour inland. Ramsgate is nearby too.
As for the house, it's got the things you'd need: a kitchen with dishwashers, washing machines, WiFi, parking on the drive, and an electric vehicle charger. No pets allowed.
