Sunset Bay
This is Sunset Bay in Minnis Bay, near Margate. It's a semi-detached bungalow. The garden at the back is enclosed and private. You get a view of the village green from the front.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. The place has a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything is on one level, so no stairs.
A five minute walk takes you to a small parade of shops. There's a place for groceries, and a bar-restaurant called The Minnis is just there. You can sit outside there in the evening.
The beach is at the end of the road. It's sandy and good for families. You can walk along the coast from there. The Viking Coastal Trail cycle path runs right past, so bringing bikes is a good idea. You can cycle to Birchington, Westgate, and into Margate itself.
You can see Reculver Towers from here. You can walk to them along the coast path. They're run by English Heritage. Reculver Towers and Roman Fort. Margate's about four miles away. That's where you'll find the Turner Contemporary gallery, Dreamland, and the main shops.
For a bigger beach day, Botany Bay and Joss Bay are a short drive up the coast. Broadstairs is about twenty minutes by car and is nice for a wander.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a woodburning stove for colder nights. WiFi and TV are included, as is parking on the drive. The bedding and towels are provided. Sorry, no pets.
