Sunset Bay is in Minnis Bay, just outside Margate. It's a terraced house, one in a row. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious.
The main thing is the location. You're about a minute's walk from the beach. The living room window looks out over the village green, which has a kids' play area. You can see the sea and the towers at Reculver from there.
It's a good spot for families. The garden is enclosed and there's a path that leads directly down to the beach. There's a shed for bikes. The Viking Coastal Trail runs right past here if you want to cycle to Ramsgate or Whitstable.
There's a small parade of shops, a pub, and a cafe on the road behind the beach. They're useful. Margate is about a ten-minute drive away for more shops and the Turner Contemporary gallery.
Other places you can reach in about half an hour are Broadstairs, which has nice bays, and Canterbury for the cathedral and city centre. The Reculver Towers are a short drive away too.
Inside, it's straightforward. The shower is a walk-in one. There's a woodburning stove, a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the drive.
No pets, sorry.
