Farm Cottage
Farm Cottage is in Margate, just outside the old town. It's part of a converted farmhouse dating from the 1650s, next to our place and Stable Cottage. You get a proper enclosed garden, which is south-facing.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, like most old cottages. There's a small chalk cellar cave, which is common round here. We're happy to show you it if you're interested.
The kitchen has what you need. There's an open plan living and dining area. TV and WiFi are included. Parking is right outside.
You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a washing machine.
It's about a ten-minute walk into Margate itself. The sea is about half a mile. There's a pub about 200 yards away that does food. A shop is a quarter of a mile.
Margate has the Turner Contemporary gallery, Dreamland, and the Old Town. The Viking Coastal Trail for cycling runs right past. Broadstairs is a short drive away, and Ramsgate harbour isn't much further.
