Vine Cottage
Vine Cottage is in Broadstairs. It's right in the middle of town, about a five minute walk to the main sandy beach. The High Street with its shops and cafes is even closer, maybe two minutes.
It's a historic cottage, built in the 1800s. My family have owned it for over sixty years. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well looked after. It sleeps five people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
The layout is a bit quirky because it's old. The stairs are steep, like a lot of old cottages. But you get used to it. The garden terrace is a real plus. You sit up there with a coffee and get a good view over the rooftops towards the sea.
You're in the conservation area so it's quiet, even though you're central. There's on-site parking for one car, which is handy in Broadstairs.
The town itself is good. Nice beaches, plenty of places to eat and drink. You can walk everywhere. For a day out, Margate is on the same train line. Ramsgate is next door. The old town of Sandwich is worth a visit, about twenty minutes by car.
Facilities: there's WiFi, TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's an enclosed garden patio with a BBQ. Sorry, no pets.
