The Cottage
The Cottage is on a quiet street in Saint Peters, Broadstairs. It's semi-detached. From here, you're about a 15 minute walk to the beach, maybe a bit less if you're quick.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. That's quite handy. It's rated 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The back is an enclosed courtyard with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a parking space at the front, which is a relief in the summer.
Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. It works well. There's also a separate dining room. The ceilings are beamed, which looks nice but mind your head if you're tall.
The local pub is about 100 yards away. It's decent. For the beach, Viking Bay is the main one. It's sandy and good for families.
Deal is a short drive down the coast. You can walk the pier and see the two castles, Deal and Walmer. English Heritage has details for Deal Castle.
If you fancy a day trip, Canterbury is about half an hour by car. The cathedral is the main thing. Dover Castle is in the other direction, maybe 20 minutes drive.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
