Beach View House is in Margate. It's one of the white houses on the sea wall at Westbrook Bay. You get a full view of the beach and the water from the main balcony.
It sleeps ten people in five bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star property, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. One dog is welcome.
The best thing is the position. You're right on the promenade. The door opens onto the path that runs along the beach. It's about a fifteen minute walk along that into Margate's main seafront.
The house has been done up. There are wooden floors, a decent kitchen with a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The wetroom on the lower ground floor is handy for coming in from the beach. The balcony faces the sea. There's also a small courtyard garden at the back.
The stairs inside are fairly typical for a tall, narrow house. They're not a problem, but they're not shallow either.
Margate station is a short walk away if you're coming by train. There's on-site parking for one car.
In Margate, the Turner Contemporary gallery is a big draw. Dreamland has the vintage fairground and events. The old town has independent shops and places to eat.
You can walk the Viking Coastal Trail from the door. For a longer trip, you can drive to Whitstable or Broadstairs in under half an hour. The North Downs are about the same distance if you want a change from the coast.
