Little Batley House
Little Batley House is a detached annexe in Westgate-on-Sea, near Margate. It's a modern conversion in a Victorian style. Sleeps two, one bedroom with an en-suite shower. It's compact, so good for a couple but not for spreading out.
The place is detached so it's quiet and private. There's a small enclosed patio garden out the back. Parking is on the drive.
You're about a ten minute walk from the beach at West Bay. It's a sandy beach, good for a proper walk. The high street with shops and a few places to eat is about two minutes away. There's a pub at the end of the road. Westgate-on-Sea station is five minutes walk if you're coming by train.
Margate is about two miles away. You can drive or get the bus from the stop on the main road. That's where you'll find the Turner Contemporary, Dreamland, and the main sands. For a longer walk, you can follow the coast path.
The facilities are as you'd expect. Washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable.
