Sweet Knoll Farmhouse

Sweet Knoll Farmhouse is exactly how you would expect a farmhouse to be, with all its originality and character this property is fantastic and stands out against the rest. As you pull up at the house with electric gates, you will be able to take in how fantastic the views and location are, and the fun you are about to have enjoying this landscape.
On the ground floor you there is a traditional farmhouse kitchen, it offers all the appliances you should need plus an Aga which will be working during the colder months but is not for cooking use. Off from the kitchen is a utility room, a dining room with table and chairs to seat all guests, a sitting room with comfortable seating, wood burner and TV, and a toilet. Upstairs are the three bedrooms with the master bedroom having an en-suite as well as stairs to a private living room, also accessed through the dining room. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor. Outside you have ample parking space, fields to run around in and a hot tub perfectly situated on the courtyard so you can take in the views while you enjoy the bubbles! The hot tub is placed conveniently by the back door of the property so you can run inside when you hop out, there is also an outhouse with office desks if you did need a quiet place. The discreet owner on the working farm next door and is on hand should you need advice or assistance during your stay.
Sweet Knoll Farmhouse and Cottage are located adjacent to a working farm close to one of the Peaks largest potholes and named one of the seven wonders of the Peaks is Eldon Hole, which is 180 feet deep. Take a short drive from the village into Castleton where you can explore Blue Johns Caverns, Chatsworth is also close by where you can learn about the history of this stately home and take a walk around the gardens. The town of Buxton lies close by which offers a variety of places to eat and shop as well as the Buxton Opera House which has shows on weekly. There is a pub in the village which has a menu available Thursday – Sunday.
