This 18th-century, Grade I listed holiday cottage is located in the centre of the World Heritage village of Cromford. Originally the store room for Sir Richard Arkwright’s village shop, this homely cottage has been tastefully converted while still retaining its character and charm. An ideal location for excellent walks, Cromford Canal, Black Rocks and High Peak Trail are all close by. Matlock Bath only 2 miles, Matlock, 4 miles, Bakewell, 10 miles, where you can spend a day around Chatsworth House or medieval Haddon Hall. 20 miles away is Buxton Opera House and Gardens, also Castleton and its caves, take a boat tour and listen to the history. Shop 20 yards, pub 10 yards, restaurant 40 yards.
