Dale End Cottage is ideally situated close to the edge of the popular and sought-after village of Brassington, and enjoys fabulous, open views. This beautiful, traditional, stone and tile, detached cottage is fantastically placed for access not only to the glorious countryside of the Peak District National Park and the Derbyshire Dales, but also to the market towns of Matlock, Wirksworth and Ashbourne. The traditional cottage interiors have been transformed with tender loving care to provide a charming holiday home for families of four.
Within a 2-minute stroll are a couple of village inns, both serving food. Carsington Lake, 3 miles, offers sailing, canoeing, wind surfing and fishing, and there are extensive cycle paths around the lake and on the High Peak Trail nearby. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton are all within a half hour’s drive, while Alton Towers is just 15 miles. So after a busy day’s exploring, kick off your shoes and sit yourself down in front of Dale End Cottage’s crackling wood burner and relax! Horse riding nearby. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
