You can also try some natural Buxton spring water direct from the source at St Ann’s Well. There’s also Buxton Museum and Art Gallery, Poole’s Cavern and Buxton Country Park where you can climb up to Solomon’s Temple and admire 360 degree spectacular Peak District Views.
Slightly further afield, other local town and villages include the ever popular market town of Bakewell, the beautiful honeypot village of Castleton, and Matlock and Matlock Bath which uniquely has the cable car ride to The Heights of Abraham. Magnificent Chatsworth House is around a half hour drive and Britain’s premier theme park Alton Towers around 40 minutes. You can literally do as much or as little as you feel.
