Directly off the living room you will find a large master bedroom with en-suite shower room. All located on one level this property is ideal for people who find steps or stairs difficult. Outside the rear of the property, you have a private area to sit out on the garden furniture and enjoy your morning cup of coffee or even an evening tipple! Be sure to make the most of your location and drive a short distance to Matlock, a picturesque town on the edge of the Peak District National Park, where the delights of the Peak Rail, The Heights of Abraham and The Great Masson Cavern can be discovered. The Peak District Mining Museum in Matlock Bath and the popular Crich Tramway Museum are also close to hand. Cromford is also nearby and is home to the National Stone Centre, as well as the High Peak Trail that brings you to the famed Black Rocks landmark, the High Peak Junction, Lea Wood and the Derwentside nature reserve.
Travel a short distance to Butterley, where locomotive fans will be delighted to find The Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust Museum, along with enjoying access to the marvellous Midland Railway and the quirky Golden Valley Light Railway; after enjoying a round trip of this part of Derbyshire’s countryside on either engine There is so much more to discover from Hartshay, with the Peak District National Park offering plenty of attractions and sights in its picture-postcard settlements, including Bakewell and Baslow, whilst the bustling locations of Derby, Chesterfield, Sheffield and Nottingham can also be easily reached.
