The Grain Store

This converted grain store still contains many of the original features and is a relaxing place to stay. Guests are greeted with an open plan dining/kitchen area with a wood burner alongside a cosy and comfortable living area. The master bedroom is next to the light and airy bathroom whichh boasts a fabulous shower.
Located in the quiet hamlet of Windley, with a scattering of farms and houses, just a short drive from the market towns of Ashbourne and Belper. It is an ideal place for couples to enjoy and explore the wonders of the Peak District. The Grain Store is a perfect location to enjoy walks and cycling straight from the doorstep towards the Eccles Bourne Valley and beyond, and is a surrounded by beautiful countryside. Nearby you will find the village of Turnditch offering good pubs and a little further afield at Hulland Ward a shop and a post office.
Why not visit Belper situated in the Derwent Valley? A town with a long and famous history dating back to the 13th century, when it was called Beaurepaire, a name it still holds true today. Attractions include the North Mill, Long Row and the river gardens. Traditional towns such as Ashbourne and Bakewell are close by, and the wonderful Chatsworth House, Shottle Hall and Haddon Hall as well as Matlock Bath with its spectacular cable car ride and Gullivers Kingdom are well worth a visit. This is a great location and a wonderful property to spend a fabulous holiday. Shop 2½ miles, pub with restaurant 500 yards.
