Talybont is in Penmachno, which is about a 15 minute drive from Betws-y-Coed. It's a detached cottage. You get the whole place to yourselves. The garden is a decked area with a hot tub. It looks out over fields.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been finished to a good spec. Everything is clean and works. It's warm.
The lounge has a log burner. There's a separate dining room and the kitchen has a dishwasher. The main bedroom has a double bed, there's a second double room, and a third room with twin beds.
Outside there's the deck with the hot tub, a barbecue, and parking for a couple of cars. There's an electric vehicle charger too. You can bring one dog.
Penmachno has a village shop and a pub, both are walkable. The pub does food. For walking or cycling, you're right on the edge of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia). The forest tracks around here are good for mountain biking.
Betws-y-Coed is the main local spot, about 15 minutes by car. It's got cafes, a few shops, and is a good start point for walks. The National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Bodnant Garden which is about 40 minutes away.
For a day out, Conwy is about half an hour. The castle and walls are worth seeing. The coast is around 30 minutes too, if you fancy the beach.
The facilities are all there: wifi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. The hot tub is checked between guests.
