Sandpipers
Sandpipers is a ground floor apartment in Portpatrick. You look out over the village and the sea from the front. The view is good, especially when the sun's out.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One has a king bed, the other has two singles. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well kept. The layout is open plan, so the living room, dining area and kitchen are all in one space. There are patio doors out to a terrace.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got a dog. You can bring one pet. There's parking right outside.
Portpatrick itself is small. There are a couple of pubs that do food, a shop, and the harbour. You can walk the coastal path from the door. It's quite rugged. Local fishing is popular if that's your thing.
Stranraer is about ten minutes by car if you need a bigger supermarket. The area is known for golf. The Visit Dumfries & Galloway site has details on courses. For walkers, the National Trust for Scotland has information on the region.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. The kitchen has what you need for cooking. It's not a chef's kitchen, but it's fine.
That's about it. It's a straightforward place in a good spot for the coast.
