Aynsley Mews
Aynsley Mews is in Consett, County Durham. It's a terraced house on a quiet street, built a while back when the steelworks were still going.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The main bedroom has a decent kingsize bed. The second room has a single bed with a proper bunk bed over the top, which is unusual. Good for kids, tight for adults. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.
Downstairs there's a living room with a smart TV. The kitchen is behind it, it's all one space really, and it's got what you'd need. The garden is out the back, enclosed and mostly lawn. It's private.
Consett's up on the edge of the Pennines. It's not a pretty village, it's a proper town. There are shops, a cinema theatre, and a few pubs. There's one within a mile.
The Derwent Walk country path is right on the doorstep for walks. The Derwent Reservoir is about ten minutes by car. You can walk around it. The North Pennines are all around here, the landscape gets very dramatic very quickly. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. They have a good website: North Pennines AONB.
Beamish Museum is fifteen minutes drive. It's a big open-air museum, you can easily spend a day there. Beamish Museum. Durham Cathedral is about half an hour away. It's spectacular, you should go. Their site is Durham Cathedral.
Newcastle city centre is a 30 minute drive if you want shopping or a night out.
Things here: wifi, tv, washing machine, all bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the driveway. The garden is enclosed. No pets.
