Jasmine Cottage

Jasmine Cottage is a bungalow on our property in Rowley, County Durham. It's all on one level. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It sleeps four. It's got a 4 star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.

The main room is open plan, with the kitchen, dining table and living area together. The views out over the fields are good, especially if you like watching the horses. It's quiet out here.

We live on site. We have our own pets: a dog, some cats, horses, and sheep. You're welcome to bring one dog of your own.

It's a practical place. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and an enclosed garden with a patio. It's wheelchair accessible, with grab rails and level access.

The location is rural. Lanchester village is about four miles away. It's got pubs, shops, and places to eat. Consett, for supermarkets, is three miles. The Knitsley Farm Shop is just over two miles away and is good for local produce.

It's a good spot for walking and cycling. There are plenty of footpaths from the door. The C2C cycle route is close by. There's a sheltered area here with a bar to lock bikes to. For longer drives, Teesdale and Weardale are about half an hour away. Hadrian's Wall is about an hour's drive.

Durham city is 11 miles away. It's useful for visiting the university or the cathedral. Beamish Museum isn't far. The Northumberland coast with its castles is within reach for a day trip.
