Pheasant Lodge is at Snods Edge, near Consett. It's a detached wooden lodge for two people. One room with a bed, kitchen, and sitting area all together. One bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and cosy. The main thing is the deck outside. There's a wood-fired hot tub and a fire pit on it. You look out over fields.
It's on a private estate with a lot of land. There's a full-size tennis court you can use.
Inside, there's a Smart TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right by the lodge. You can bring one dog.
The closest pub is about a mile and a half away. The nearest shop is five miles, so you'll want to come with supplies.
For places to go, Corbridge is nearby. It's an old Roman town with nice walks by the river, cafes, and shops. You can drive to bits of Hadrian's Wall from there. The Terris Novalis sculptures are a few miles away, by the old steel works.
Durham is about 20 minutes by car. Newcastle city centre is about half an hour. There's a lot of walking and cycling routes around here, including the coast-to-coast cycle path.
It books with a few other properties on the same estate if you have a bigger group.
