Pheasant Lodge is up at Snods Edge, near Consett. It's a wooden lodge, detached, on our land. It's for two people.
The main space is all open plan. Bed, kitchen, and living area all in one room. There's a big patio door that goes out onto the deck. From there you look out over fields. It's quiet. The deck has a wood-fired hot tub and a fire pit.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, more of a glamping feel than a cottage. Everything's on the ground floor. There's a shower room, towels and bedding are included. WiFi and a Smart TV are there. You can bring one dog.
On the land here there's a full-size tennis court you're welcome to use. It's just there. Sometimes other lodges on the site are occupied, but you've got your own space.
The nearest pub and restaurant is about a mile and a half away. The shop is further, about five miles, so you'll want to bring your basics.
Local things: Corbridge is close. It's a Roman town with a few nice shops, cafes, and a walk by the river. The Hadrian's Wall sites are nearby if you like history. If you have more people, there are three other properties here you can book together.
