Manor Park Cottage
Manor Park Cottage is a bungalow in West Butsfield. It's on our land, next to a small caravan park. The place is quiet, set back from the road with a lawn out front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one kingsize and one with twins. It has two shower rooms, which is handy. Everything's on one level. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The living room has a wood burner, which is nice in the evening, and big bay windows looking out. The kitchen has everything you'd need, and there's a utility room with a Belfast sink for boots or washing.
It's a good spot for walking or cycling straight from the door. The C2C cycle route is close by. Teesdale and Weardale are about half an hour's drive for more dramatic scenery. For history, Durham is about 25 minutes away and Hadrian's Wall is under an hour.
You're four miles from Consett. That's where the big supermarkets are, along with a sports centre and cinema. Lanchester village is five miles the other way and has a few decent pubs and restaurants. The Knitsley Farm Shop is about two miles away, good for local produce.
There's on site parking. Bedding and towels are included. Pets are welcome, one well-behaved dog. The Wi-Fi runs off a 4G router, so it works, but it can be slower because of the location.
