Romany Hollow is at Westview Farm near Medomsley Edge. It's a refurbished Romani caravan that sleeps two. So it's quite a different sort of place. It's on a small holiday park on a working farm, so you'll see animals and hear farm noises.
It's got a 4 Star rating. Inside, it's open plan. There's a kitchen area, a woodburning stove, and the double bed. It's all been done to a good standard. The shower and toilet are in a modern block about a minute's walk from the caravan.
Outside, there's a decent decking area with a BBQ. You look out over fields and moorland. It's very quiet. The farm sells its own produce, which is handy.
There's a pub within walking distance. A golf course is nearby too. For anything else, you'll need to drive.
Durham is about a 20-minute drive. It's a stunning city with the cathedral and castle. Well worth a day. The North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is on the doorstep for walking. Beamish Museum is about 15 minutes away if you fancy that.
Facilities: everything is included like bedding, towels, and electricity. There's parking right by the caravan. You can bring up to two dogs. It's detached, so it's just you out there.
You can book it together with another place on site called Hobbit Hollow if you're a bigger group.
