John Wesley Cottage is in Tantobie, which is in County Durham. It's one of two cottages converted from old barns. The barns are from the 1600s. You're in the countryside here, it's quiet.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
There's a local shop about 500 yards away. A pub is within walking distance too.
You're well placed for getting out. There's good walking right from the door and cycle tracks nearby. For a day out, Beamish Museum is very close. It's an open air museum, you can easily spend a full day there. Durham City is about half an hour's drive and is worth a visit for the cathedral and the river. If you fancy the coast, the Northumberland beaches are under an hour away. Raby Castle with its deer park is a popular spot too.
In the cottage: it's open plan downstairs. There's a washing machine, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets, sorry.
