Steelclose House is in Hamsterley Mill, County Durham. It's a detached house on seven acres of its own land. The bit you get is enclosed, so it's private. The main garden is lawn and it's quite sunny. There's a river at the bottom of the land, just so you know. It's not fenced, so kids need watching.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are super king size, the other two are king size. One of the king rooms is downstairs. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. Everything's included, like bedding and towels.
The kitchen is big and has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a separate dining room and a lounge with a TV. The stairs are fine. Outside there's a hot tub and parking for a few cars.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
For getting out, the Derwent Walk and the C2C cycle route are right nearby. Gibside is about three miles away. Beamish Museum is about a 20 minute drive. Newcastle city centre is about eight miles, so 20 minutes or so in the car. The coast, like Seaham or the Northumberland beaches, is within an hour's drive. Hadrian's Wall is about an hour away too.
