Burn View is in Blaydon, Tyne and Wear. It's a detached house, not a cottage. Sleeps six, three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star property, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The house is split-level. You go up a few steps from the front porch into the living area. There's a 70-inch TV with the usual apps. The stairs inside are fairly steep, just so you know.
Outside, there's a deck with a hot tub. It looks out onto trees, so it's private. The deck gets the evening sun.
Inside, there's a pool table that converts into a dining table. Useful if the weather turns.
For facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site. A travel cot and highchair are there if you need them. No pets.
Location wise, you're about six miles from Newcastle city centre. The MetroCentre shopping centre is about five miles away. The coast at Tynemouth and Whitley Bay is a twenty-minute drive. They have long promenades and good cafes.
Right on the doorstep is Blaydon Burn, over 200 acres of woodland. The Derwent Walk Country Park is nearby for walks and cycling. It's part of the National Cycle Network.
Further out, within about half an hour, you can get to Beamish Museum, or start exploring Hadrian's Wall. The Northumberland coast beaches are a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes.
